FAQ

Before you buy

No. Water hosts and sells no games. It's a game launcher and a BitTorrent client, and every game comes from the BitTorrent network, shared by other players. Your license pays for Water: the downloading, the installing, the setup, the emulators and the controllers.
Yes. Download Water and install any one game without a key. That game stays yours.
One. Your key binds to the first PC you activate it on.
Ask us on Discord and we'll move your license to the new PC. Its end date stays the same.
When you first type the key into Water, not when you buy it.
Buy another year and type the new key into Water. The year goes on the end of the one you have, so renewing early wastes nothing.
Water checks your license once a day, so it needs the internet at least that often.

Download Water only from waterlauncher.app. Every emulator and system file it downloads is checked against a pinned hash before Water uses it. Windows warns about the installer because it isn't code-signed yet: press More info, then Run anyway.
